Description

This kit provides hardware for securely installing our wood products. The 1" Wood Plug is a round peg with flat ends, designed to fit into a pre-drilled hole to conceal the screw used in mounting. Once installed with glue, the plug follows the natural direction of the wood grain, ensuring a seamless appearance. Depending on your preference, the plug can either be left slightly raised for a more rustic look or trimmed and sanded flush for a smoother, more finished appearance. We offer plugs in three standard wood species: Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, and Eastern White Pine.

The Zinc Lag Screw used inside the product is covered with the wooden plug, providing both strength and enhanced protection. The internal zinc coating offers moderate corrosion resistance, while the wooden plug minimizes exposure to moisture and other elements, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Kit Includes: 1/4" x 6" Zinc Lag Screw, Zinc Washer, and 1" Wood Plug.
