Our 1x16 Engineered Western Red Cedar Board with an S1S2E (Surfaced One Side, Two Edges) finish offers a high-quality, dimensional solution for trim, fascia, and cladding applications. The face side is smoothly planed, while the reverse side retains a natural texture. Both edges are square and surfaced for clean, uniform installation.
Manufactured using finger-jointed and laminated Western Red Cedar, this engineered board provides enhanced stability, reduced warping, and long lengths that maintain consistent appearance and performance. It is ideal for vertical or horizontal applications where natural beauty and straight lines are essential.
Applications: Commonly used for fascia, frieze boards, rake trim, beam wrapping, and large-format paneling—especially in projects requiring stain-grade finishes and dimensional consistency.
Size Note: The nominal size is 1x16. The actual finished size is 1" x 16", with a tolerance of ±1/16". Lengths are typically available in 4', 8', 10', 12', 16', or 20'.
Appearance Note: The front face is planed and ready for additional surface finishing to meet your accepted quality standards—ideal for staining or painting. No wood filler or extra sanding is applied. The back side may show texture variation.
